Cable Car Pizza/Bienvenuti Italian restaurant and Japan Home Furniture opened their doors last weekend, just in time for the Fourth of July holiday.
The interior of the new italian restaurant(formerly Ted's Sports Bar) looks amazing. New hardwood floors, new bar area, booths and painted murals on the wall reflect an old world feel perfect for fine Italian dining. For the grand opening they are offering a 30% off discount.

Also just opened is the IKEA-like home decor and Japanese accesory store Japan Home Furniture. Owners Christine and John have been working hard since March making the necessary rennovations right below us at what used to be the Beneficial Mortgage space. Everything in the store is $2.50 except the candy and assorted potted plants and orchids. Merchandise is an ecclectic assortment of office supplies, home supplies and even Hello Kitty accessories.

Sun, October 24, 2004 - 10:33 AMI think it's the same owner. When we ate there recently, he told us about the "supper club" concept but didn't mention the name change. He said he wants to have music and other entertainment, cabaret-style etc.
